Nobody is completely sure whether this is a sign that Antica is no longer interested in the land, or if it means something completely different. Gralan leaders are hoping that future negotiations with Antica will help to sustain the good relations between the two nations. In the public domain, the citizens of the Kendall Isles have taken the cease in negotiations to be a positive sign, and the riots have ceased. City officials are now taking the opportunity to clean the streets of the rotten produce strewn everywhere. Fleet Admiral Jack Nightingale has expressed the wish to make a statement on the matter, but the Gralan government is not allowing him the opportunity. The Gralan Government continues to offer a portion of the land in exchange for monetary compensation, but negotiations with Antica on the matter have made little progress. Reports of Antican officials planning to invade the territory are as of yet unconfirmed, but have the public in fear of their safety. So far, the riots have led to little injury or damage, but authorities are fearful of a quick escalation, with any arrival of new information on the matter. NNN's field reporter, Ann Arky, is on the scene. Ann?

Thank you, Ike. I am currently in the city of New Nova, and as you can see behind me, there is a mass of people on the street right now with angry signs. Traffic through the city has come to somewhat of a standstill, but that is the least of the worries of the local authorities. At any time, the citizens of the city could break out in violence. The police are doing the best they can to disperse the crowds, but the cries of 'Freedom of Assembly!' and 'Get your goram hands off me!' are making things difficult. What is certainly not helping the affair are the statements made by recently-promoted Gralan Fleet Admiral Jack Nightingale, who has taken a very aggressive stance on the situation. The Gralan Government is doing its best to silence Captain Jack, but his various quotations can be seen as widely used slogans on signs, though some of them can be described as nothing more than 'disgustingly profane gibberish.'

*KSKHSHHSSHSSSHSHS*

I'm sorry folks, we seem to be experiencing some technical difficulties. Ann, Ann, are you still there?

Yes, Ike, sorry, I'm back. We had a bit of a mishap with a tomato and the camera. The rioters have begun to throw all manner of fruit and vegetables, excluding broccoli, and I fear I may be in danger of needing to purchase some stain remover for this jacket. Though this new behavior is of much delight to the less fortunate of the street bums, I am beginning to fear for the safety of my cardigan. This is Ann Arky, signing off from New Nova.

Thank you, Ann, for that informative and oddly messy report. That's all for tonight, folks, this is Ike Arumba, from the NNN. Good night. His absence had prompted discussion at the Imperial level about replacing him, though it was soon decided the better course was to invoke the parts of the Novatainian constitution which allowed the Council of Regional Representatives to govern the nation without the King. However, the Al'Magroth incident had left the matter of Regional Representatives unclear and there was questioning of the legality of appointing the proposed names. Cheerfully, the return of the king ensures that he can make those appointments legally and constitutional reform can be done where needed to avoid a repeat of this situation.

On behalf of NNN, we'd like to welcome King Lachlan back. May you continue to reign long! Tue Sep 14, 2010 10:28 pm http://novatainia.org/Gralus/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=1440 VBNC Rises to New Level of Awesomeness http://novatainia.org/Gralus/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=1322 VBNC Rises to New Level of Awesomeness
Everyone's favourite benevolent multinational corporation, the Very Big Novatainian Corporation, today soared to new heights as they unveiled the long awaited All-Mart: "Find everything." All'Mart combines all the best features of a grocery store, factory outlet, hardware centre, shopping mall and fashion boutique under the one exquisitely carved quartz dome roof. Finally Novatainians can get their shopping done all in the one place, without the bother or fuss of going to multiple retailers. Not only are the store staff friendly and helpful; they've even got RID tags on all the products so you're through the 'checkout' in as long as it takes you to swipe your card. The only thing the All'Mart stores are missing is an in-store DZ, and knowing VBNC, it won't be long.

Already popular for their work in rebuilding (or should we say 'V-Building') the nation at no cost to the consumer after the Al'Magroth incident; the recent restoration of New New Myzoria after it had been destroyed by Kane, along with all the Astral Plane; and of course the Novatainian staple, Manuel's Uber Loot Shop, VBNC now has a special place in the heart of the Novatainian public. It's said even our own illustrious King Lachlan called Manuel in for a little chat to thank him for his work with V-Build, and provided him with the gift of a palace employed security guard. Who knows what VBNC will do next? But we all know we'll love it.

Finally on the list of help and services VBNC has provided to the nation, the VBNC Programming division has provided updates to the NNN software so we now have a live web feed and associated archive. Though conveniently forgotten in the light of the Al'Magroth Incident, the fact remains that 'Lord' Nargoth, one time Lord General and current Lord of Magic, was responsible for some of the most terrible terrorist attacks to strike Gralus, risking the lives of many Jokerdom children and resulting in the deaths of over a score of Drow kids, as well as various other citizens.

The actions of the terrorist R, seeking to force the resignation of the then Emperor, Nicholas the Mad, led to a race against time as the forces of justice tried to save the kids trapped in two warehouses, ready to explode. While R was captured, it became clear he was nothing more than a pawn directed by the powerful unseen hand of Nargoth. Who else could have had access to the CAA warehouse the Drow children died in? Who else could have cast the complex enchantment keeping the Gralan forces from rescuing them? And why else would he have resigned the day of the attacks?

Confronted with this evidence by the Emperor, he fled. One the run for weeks, he eventually joined with Al'Magroth and helped his reign of terror. When all hope was gone for Al'Magroth winning, Nargoth turned on him so as to 'prove' his loyalty to the Gralan cause. He cosied it up with the magic folk by promising to undo Kane's magical ban, and now he walks the streets at large - like a normal person. Why have the Gralan government not brought this traitor to justice? Why has the Novatainian crown not taken this magic BLUEBERRY down? Perhaps it is true that his phenomenal private wealth is what's keeping him out of jail. But this reporter, at least, demands justice. And so do the people of Novatainia. Tue Jun 08, 2010 7:56 pm http://novatainia.org/Gralus/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=1282 New New Myzoria http://novatainia.org/Gralus/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=1273 VBNC Announces 'New' New Myzoria
The Very Big Novatainian Corporation, parent corporation of V-Build, the company which have rebuilt Novatainia after the attack of Al'Magroth, today announced the imminent opening of 'New' New Myzoria. The Astral half of New Myzoria was lost in the Al'Magroth Incident, a casualty of Skoitamashu's perhaps ill-planned removal of all magic and destruction of all planes except the Material one. The residents of New Myzoria have been in limbo for months now as negotiations with Laranel stalled; having been billeted there by Skoitamashu after destroying their homes. Some have forged a new life back in Gralus; but many have stayed billeting, hoping against hope to return to their jobs and homes in New Myzoria. Now they have the opportunity to do just that, if VBNC is to be relieved.

"We always believed that rebuilding New Myzoria was our public duty when we took on the rebuilding of Gralus," VBNC said today, in their press release, "and we are pleased to announce that this has now become possible. On Monday next week, our portal currently under construction in Lybelle will be officially opened, and people will be able to travel between New Myzoria and New New Myzoria. Travel will be free between them for the first month."

Speculation is rife as to how VBNC have managed to restore New Myzoria. Some suggest they have found a way to restore the original; others that it is a skilfully made copy - but either way, they have somehow found a spare dimension to store it in; and with the Planes out of action, nobody knows where it is. VBNC has said that people should find their houses 'still there' but that they cannot rely on personal possessions remaining perfectly intact. Manuel, the CEO of VBNC, was unavailable for comment.
